ALUMILIUM BILLET

An aluminum billet is a cylindrical piece of aluminum metal used as a raw material in various industries. It is created by casting molten aluminum and further processed to produce various products such as plates, pipes and profiles. Aluminum billets are used in the automotive, aerospace, construction and electronics industries due to aluminum's light weight and other beneficial properties

At Billet Production Facilities; in order to control all production processes and to produce high quality aluminum billets in accordance with European EN AW quality standards; fully automatic, computer aided, Wagstaff airsillipcasting system is used. Produced and manufactured in Turkey with 25 years of experience in the industry.

Thanks to the ultrasonic test unit integrated into the production line, the aluminum billets produced are controlled 100% and the billets are transmitted to the Extrusion Facility by making sure that there are no central cracks and capillary gap problems.
